Your gastroenterologist will get to know you and review your symptoms, then evaluate your needs and determine course of treatment.  When appropriate, Charleston GI will work with your Primary Care Physician to customize our approach to your care.

Visiting our Endoscopy Center

Most of our procedures are performed at our endoscopy center.  Our center is licensed by the South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control (DHEC), Medicare certified and accredited by the American Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
Our endoscopy center is designed with your comfort and convenience in mind.

What to Bring

Initial Consultation:


* Filling out the paperwork can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes (less if you have downloaded the forms and completed them prior to arrival). *



Follow up Office Appointments


  • Photo ID
  • Insurance card(s) and copayment, if applicable
  • List of medications


Procedure at Charleston Endoscopy Center

  • Photo ID
  • Insurance card(s)
  • A driver


* The procedures we perform at Charleston Endoscopy Center involve anesthesia or sedation and will require you to bring a responsible adult driver.  If you do not have a responsible adult driver with you, your procedure will be canceled.
